ALERT TO ALL
INDIANA SCHOOLS!
This brochure has been created to highlight the curriculum map and vertical alignment essential for fostering a robust science education for our students.

Understanding the Challenge
The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has recently condensed the national science standards to approximately 30% of their original scope, labeling them as "essential standards” (ES). While this streamlining aims to focus learning, it inadvertently creates a substantial gap in the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for our students to excel in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers.
