Job Description
Originally from California, Ashley spent much of her childhood exploring the outdoors. After high school, she joined AmeriCorps NCCC, where she worked on various service projects in the Southwest, including a memorable experience with the Boys and Girls Club. This sparked her passion for working with children.

She later joined City Year and spent a year in a kindergarten classroom, solidifying her commitment to teaching. Returning to California, Ashley earned her teaching degree and enjoyed four fulfilling years in Montessori education. Following a six-month adventure traveling through South America, she and her husband relocated to his hometown of Elkhart. Over the past five years, Ashley has loved teaching first grade in public school and celebrating major milestones, including purchasing their first home and welcoming their two wonderful children.

Ashley is excited to bring her love of teaching, nature, and the environment to ETHOS. She believes her diverse experiences and enthusiasm for education will make a valuable contribution to the team.
