Jennifer Balsbaugh

Job Description 

Jen supports ETHOS programs by coordinating, facilitating, and enhancing hands-on STEM experiences for students and educators. She plays a central role in planning and leading field trips, working closely with schools and internal teams to ensure each visit runs smoothly, safely, and with purpose. During programs, Jen helps guide students through inquiry-based activities that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful connections to science.

Beyond program delivery, Jen also contributes to the development of the GLC Science Curriculum. She supports the writing and refinement of curriculum content for upper-grade levels, helping ensure lessons are engaging, academically strong, and aligned with real-world scientific practices. Her work bridges hands-on learning and curriculum design, strengthening the overall impact of ETHOS programs.
