Sally Bawtinheimer

​Sally is a passionate STEM Educator. Prior to joining the team she worked as a third grade classroom teacher in Elkhart for six years, an online charter school teacher for one year, and a youth pastor for four years.

​Sally likes to bring the joy of curiosity to her students and help them wonder “why” about the wonderful things in our world.  Believing “Every child is a scientist and every teacher can teach science!”  This philosophy motivates her to reach out to the schools of our community.  Sally’s children love being the guinea pigs to test her fun science experiments! Sally has a B.S. in Elementary Education from IUSB and a B.A. in social work from Hope College.
