INTRODUCING LAB IN A BAG!
Lab in a Bag is a take-home STEM kit & video series aimed at students in Elkhart County aged between 8-12 years old (or those at heart). Each bag contains five hands-on activities that expose students to STEM concepts in real-life and in the community. Every week, students will cover a topic in biology/ chemistry/ physics/engineering and will have the opportunity to follow along on YouTube Live and hear from a member of the Elkhart community about how they use STEM in everyday life.
HAVE FUN & SPARK CURIOSITY:
Each Lab in a Bag includes everything a student will need to conduct 5 STEM activities. Each bag includes step-by-step video instruction, as well as additional items to help you explore and have fun (lab apron, goggles, notebook and pen).
Activities have been designed with materials that can be found in most kitchens, so anyone can follow along at home. Hard copy instructions will be included for students who do not have reliable access to the internet or device and will be available in English and Spanish. Lab in a Bag will be available for pick up from the ETHOS Innovation Center.
