ETHOS Innovation Center
ETHOS is focused on impacting the community in collaboration with our partners to offer students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and the public opportunities to share interests within the world of STEM, STEAM, and beyond. The community has invested in ETHOS and we are proactively providing an innovation campus that advances STEM principles and practices to a lifelong engagement for our region's current and future generations.
Our goal is to be the region's primary driver and resource for expanding STEM education.
- Build a strong foundation for STEM literacy ensuring every student has the opportunity to master basic STEM concepts.
- Increase diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM providing lifelong access for high-quality education and employment opportunities.
- Prepare the STEM workforce for the future for both college-educated and skilled trades career-bound talent.
Current participating schools include Elkhart Community Schools, Fairfield Community Schools, Concord Community Schools, Goshen Community Schools, and St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic School. Current efforts are focused on expanding STEM programming to school districts and educational programs throughout the region.
Additionally, the ETHOS Innovation Center has onsite partnerships with the following organizations focused on collaboratively providing a lifecycle of programs for K-12 and entrepreneurship development promoting STEM innovation and career advancement.
Our Innovation Partners
Growing from our STEM roots, the ETHOS Innovation Center campus provides K-12 college and career-bound students a continuum of learning experiences from which they will learn, try, test, and launch their innovative creations and careers.
Junior Achievement BizTown program provides students with a realistic opportunity to experience how basic economic concepts are applied in the real world. By participating in JA BizTown, young students experience the responsibilities and opportunities of citizenship in a free enterprise system.

The Notre Dame IDEA Center is a fundamental resource for all commercialization and entrepreneurial activities within the region. IDEA provides the necessary space, services and expertise for idea development, commercialization, business formation, prototyping, entrepreneurial education, and student entrepreneurial efforts.

enFocus attracts talent to regional communities to spark innovation via fellows and interns, community programming, and recruiting recent graduates to work as "sponsored problem solvers" in the corporate, nonprofit, education, and public sectors.
